BYOK overview
Zapito is bring-your-own-key (BYOK): your agents run on your own model API keys. Zapito adds 0% markup on model usage — we charge for the platform, not the tokens.
Who bills you for what

There is no path where Zapito resells someone else’s usage to you with a margin.
Why BYOK
Section titled “Why BYOK”- Transparent cost — your provider dashboard shows exactly what your bot spends, message by message.
- Your rate limits, your quotas — heavy traffic on your bot never competes with other Zapito customers.
- No lock-in — keys, WhatsApp number and WABA all belong to you.
Zapito Credits (coming soon)
Section titled “Zapito Credits (coming soon)”If you’d rather not manage an API key at all, Zapito Credits will let bots run on Zapito-managed models with prepaid credits. It isn’t live yet — today every plan is BYOK.
Setting up
Section titled “Setting up”Add keys under Settings → API keys → Provider keys (BYOK) in the app. Keys are validated live against the provider when you save, and stored encrypted — see Security & routing.
